Classical music has infiltrated and synthesized with other musical styles like jazz, folk, new age, polka, rock, country, electronica and even heavy metal. The influence of the classical style has also been the inspiration for the modernization and creation of unique musical instruments.
It is possible that every major artform has been altered by the influence of classical styles, but certainly most modern cultures have had its mark left upon them.
